The Unlimited Dream Company (Design/Architecture branch of studio Segers) was stationed in the Linderveld area near Deventer for 3 days. The development of this area has been problematic and included some plans that met with great resistance from the local population, like creating a industrial zone and a wildlife park. The UDC worked on location in an improvised office to create and present new plans and approaches for the area. Some of our 'out of the box' concepts included the 'Dubai of Overijssel' a Colonel Gaddafi inspired combination of impressive architecture and amusement, 'Interzone' - a lawless free zone that could house a.o. illegal immigrants and 'Action-Golf' - a golfcourse that is simultaneously a military practice terrain.
