GENPOWER ENTERPRISES 2050 (2019)
A commission from Trendbureau Overijssel & Atelier Overijssel to 'visualise' one of four future scenarios they had worked out for the Province to stimulate thoughts about future directions during a congress with law-makers, politicians, entrepreneurs and government workers. My scenario was based on production, with all the consequences for landscape, environment etc. that it produced. Upon entering my setting - a temporary location for my fictitious company 'GenPower Enterprises' - the guests had to put on coveralls, gloves and mouth caps like factory workers, and got an introduction to their first day on the job by the foreman; myself.
